I was able to reproduce the bug. I didn't see it at first because it
I tried it on Linux, also thinking it the bug should be architecture
independent.

But when I tried a capture with "Update list of packets in real time"
enabled on Solaris 2.6, I get the grayed-out menu item, too.

Expect a bug fix soon...
